Sxélcha means ‘catch’, as in ‘what you caught when hunting’.
You can use sxélcha to to talk about the body of an animal, a bird, or a fish.
Sxélcha sounds like s-HILL-chah, except that:
- Instead of an h you make the Halq’eméylem x-sound.
- To make the x, create light friction by touching your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
