stink-eggs

EH; fish-eggs that's been kept a long time, used to keep in them rice sacks that are weaved like strips of cedar roots; used to put it in there and hang it outside; some eggs bust, and it seals the thing; they leave it all winter, in the spring they cut it just like cheese. It really stinks. They say it tastes like limberger cheese.
