There is no exact word for "herbal" tea, because all of our tea used to be made from herbs. In addition to Labrador Tea, we also have tea made from salmon berries, and a large variety of medicinal teas, which are still used today. Coffee was not traditional, and we did not have it until non-natives first came to our communities.
