You Folks Were VERBED
To say You folks were VERBED or You folks got VERBED in Halq'eméylem, you add an -ólem ending onto the verb. Here are some examples.

You got frozen. You folks got frozen.
(c) Máythó:m. (d) Máytólém.
You were helped. You folks were helped.
(e) Íwesthó:m. (f) Íwestólém.
You were taught. You folks were taught.
The 'He can't VERB you' law also applies to you folks as the receiver of the action. That is, you cannot say 'He VERBED you folks' directly, but rather have to say indirectly 'You folks were VERBED', using this -ólém ending, as in the examples above.
